For good or ill, it appears that a major backlash has started against Glenn Beck:
Beck loses 103 sponsors as his UK television broadcast runs for five days straight without any ads.
I'm still pondering whether or not this is good news. While I have major issues with Glenn Beck, I cannot help but wonder if the reasons for pulling advertiser support are less than honorable. Could it be that they didn't like the truth that Glenn Beck did present?
Well, either way, it shows the importance to cling to the truth and nothing but the truth.

In a press release today, James Rucker of Color of Change noted the StopBeck effort’s success in pulling so many sponsors from Glenn Beck in the U.K. that his show has run ad-less for the last six consecutive days.
Color of Change also announced additional sponsors that dropped Glenn Beck in the United States. Thirteen of these sponsors were not already on our list of 103 dropped sponsors. When added, they bring the total number of dropped sponsors for Glenn Beck to 116.
These 13 additional sponsors are:

If you notice, everyone from Mark Levine to Laura Ingram to Gibbs have the same ~blanket~ sponsors. They pay Fox, who in turn get all thier people to sell the ~blanket~ product.
He's lost a whole lot of unique sponsors, but I'm of the same mind as Khomar... are they leaving for all the wrong reasons?

I think they're almost out of cards.
They've played the race card, the evil white banker card. They've played the anti-semite card, the "they kill us for our freedoms" card. They've WAY overplayed the economic card.
The only card they have left to divide/split/minimize the Tea Party/Revolution movement comes down to... 911.
I'm cool with that... let's push THAT envelope.
I think they just screwed up AGAIN in reading the mood of the country.

Well, I just spent an hour+ laying the most vile truth on some sheep on some San Antonio radio stations chat room.
Joe Pags...whoever the hell that is was ripping Medina apart. Well I had listened to the 570AM show right before that were the callers were really supportive and Medina called in and clarified her remarks so I thought well the people are taking it well it seems. So I went to the next station and it was night and day. No callers were for her, they were all saying they wouldn't vote for her and all that. I saw they had Dennis Miller coming up next so I realized what kind of station it was...cough...neocon...
Anyway I stuck to one theme because it is directly related to the idea of "questioning" 9/11 which is Medina's supposed "fault".
Why have 6 out of the 10 original commissioners decried the official story and investigation.
I gave them quote after quote after quote and conducted myself in a nice way (it was tough). I repeatedly asked the host to look it for himself and to comment on it and he responded by telling me to "look up your ass".

But I continued on, they wanted to know my opinions, I told them opinions don't matter facts do. This is a concept few of them understood.
But if it's any gauge of the listenership only a max of 80 people were in the room, it was a link off the DP I followed and only maybe 20 people were participating, with roughly 15-20% not neocons.
So, I think this might be kinda like MSNBC where they say really vile stuff....but who's listening?

But, then again, there are a bunch a people who do not agree with the 9/11 commission and want more truth. So, I hope these people are rallied by Glen Beck's obstruction to that right.

I think they are hesitant because deep down they realize how momentous such a revelation would be. It would literally change everything for our country. The last ten years would be seen as a heinous deception that resulted in millions of meaningless deaths including tens of thousands of American troops. If the truth of 9/11 came out, it could destroy the entire fabric of the NWO regime.

one thing im searching right now is the glenn and medina interview.... I listened to it on youtube and don't understand why everyone is upset at glenn, why he brought up the 9/11 attacks, and why he laughed at the end of the interview apparently at the fact that medina was not able to give an absolute yes or no.... Personally from what i listened to I like what she had to say about our RIGHTS (which come from god) such as the right to private property, and gun ownership....thats all good. So why is glenn being.... a jerk

I can understand why people are a little leary about Beck, Alot of people seem to think Beck doesnt practice what he preaches so to say... Can you trust the guy, personally, i wouldn't on some things, however, Beck has helped me a little. The fear of being misled though is going to surround me for awhile until I can understand a little better who is who, and what is what. Im reading, studying, doing alot. Right now everything is like a huge friggin puzzle. So many opinions and views and political terms...
Look...here's the truth.
You will not learn anything by listening to any talking head.
You will only learn by doing your own research. Look at everything, read everything, don't jsut read what you think you should read.
Read everything, even things that you don't think have any relation to anything you are looking for. Become a fountain of knowledge, useful and trivial. Only then will you have the discernment needed to break the matrix.
We aren't talking a week, 2 weeks, a month or even a year.
It's something you have to commit to now, and stay up late doing until you feel like you get it....and then you have to realize you are probably wrong and start all over again.
It's tough to wake up, it's even tougher to actually figure out what's going on. Every time you make a breakthough, chalk it up...but realize that it just means you have even more roads to travel.
I watched a video on infowars.com. I must say it was quite interesting what they had to say about beck more or less being part of the act... I still think he makes some good points, but nevertheless I believe I should be a little more aware on what he talks about when he's discussing obama's plans and what his intensions are, and most importantly what side beck takes.
I know what you mean. It can be overwhelming at times, and even now, having come through a lot of that, there are still a lot of pieces that are not as clear as I would like them. Keep your focus on seeking the truth in all things even when you may not like it.

He seemed to be educating people to their constitution, but; to seem to limit people's thought is unconstitutional.
I never listen to his radio broadcasts, where most of these things emerge. But, it's all over the web now. I wonder how his ratings will suffer because of this.

What a real eye-opener.
I especially enjoyed the part after they painted her as a kook where Beck said he wanted to French kiss Rick Perry.

That was sickening. I'm fairly well seething at this point.
I listened to the whole 40 minutes or so afterwards. It was 40 minutes of just that, interwoven with him and his sidekicks saying that anyone that thought this should not pay taxes.
Which I thought a tad odd... if he is so comfy with the current administation, what is he doing paying taxes?
I'm also upset that he pointed out many many times "If you think that our government could just kill 3000 people" when in reality they have killed WAY more than that and he still cheerleads the effort.

Since he got on that Van Jones thing for months and got no action until he brought up Jone's link to 9/11 Truth, he thinks that is the way to take someone down easy I guess. This interview was a disappointment to me. I can't for the life of me figure out why he would have even acted like he did afterward...did Debra really say anything bizarre? No.

I know this however I do side with Cougar in that Beck is cracking open some untouchable things and opening some eyes. It is my hope that people won't cling to him as they did Barry but will get slices of truth that lead them to investigate for themselves.
I've heard Beck bring out some things I thought I'd never hear coming out of the TV set, so I wonder what he's up to just giving a little bit of this and that. I know it's leading folks down the primrose path but what is he leading up to?
An analogy...
He's a good provider. He's humorous, he's funny. An excellent lover, attentive. Witty, intelligent... good with the kids. an amazing person to just hang out with... a good listener.
Sometimes though, he'll beat you to within an inch of your life.
Other than that, the guy is great!

That is a great analogy, and it really puts it into perspective. There are far better sources to turn people to than Glenn Beck.

I got angry because I absolutely expect people that have made their way here to understand how this whole schtick works.
I don't expect anyone or everyone to share my same views but I absolutely expect them to understand how things work and not to defend those who use someone as means to advance an agenda that is 180 degrees opposite from what they profess to believe in.
