Actually...
I was thinking of a 2004 SRT-4 I own.
Popping the engine out would lose me almost 700 pounds, which would put the empty weight at 1,100 before the electric motor and cells.
The rest of the car is already tuned for 180 mph, so I wouldn't have to mess with suspension/etc.
