Honestly I feel better since I quit FB...my brother Shawn and I were talking about having addictive personalities...and he told me that it was possibly alright...we just need to concentrate on being addicted to healthy things instead of things that suck. Like fear for example.

My favorites were probably the helicopter ride and The House of Blues where we saw Jackie Greene & Gov't Mule. I also filmed the whole inside of Hard Rock but it's too much to post yet, I need to splice it together. Anyway, hope y'all enjoyed the beautiful beach...Love y'all!! OX!

Hi Orabox, glad to see you alive and kicking. You too, Kat. We have been recovering from our insane trip to Idaho. Forty hours of non-stop driving on the way back was a little much for everyone. I think we are mostly recovered now. Our fourth child keeps wanting to go bye-bye every time we put on his jammies. We left at bedtime to drive out to ID. So I guess the kids liked it. Strange children. Maybe we'll see you all on some other time.

For those who want to get to the real facts behind oil spills, I found this book online that talks in great detail about the various aspects of oil spills and the effect it can have on the environment:

On another note, the following passage from the Bible has really struck me lately in regard to the spill. I know it goes against conventional wisdom on end times prophecy, but could we have actually seen the second trumpet foretold in Revelations. Consider:
If this spill leaks out into the Atlantic, it could truly affect up to a third of the world's oceans. Aya was reading an article as well that indicated that the methane released in the open well could form bubbles that, upon reaching the surface, could sink ships. To someone from the first century, an oil rig could very well look like some sort of large mountain. It is a possibility.
I am reading a lot
about these methane bubbles and talking with my brother. In his opinion, such a thing is very possible and we discuss this situation in regards to a tsunami or methane "waves" of fire.
Will it happen?...Maybe not. Maybe so.
He and I also talk about the NWO and strategy. A major disaster, like the one mentioned above, will be just the excuse they need to install martial law and at the same time have accomplished depopulation.
I say this because of the specific quietness of the federal government in our area and the lack of response as if they are just waiting and biding their time.
I know what you mean. The actions of the government go beyond negligence or incompetence -- it is so bad it almost has to be deliberate.
The thing that gave me pause about this being a fulfillment of the second trumpet is that it is out of order, and yet, here is the first trumpet:
I have read that Methane can also crystallize it gets into the atmosphere and come down as flammable hail. Combined with the reports of it raining oil in Louisiana, and this starts to look like a very real and present possibility as well.
The one thing that gives me comfort is something I posted a while back and keep coming back to: "As the storm clouds gather and the darkness deepens, take heart that the forces of evil in this world are still answerable to God." That is why I take comfort in Revelations because though I do not understand it or how it is all going to work out, I know that in the end righteousness will triumph over evil, God will see that justice is done.

I read the DP on the subject and the different debates between opposing forces, and the one thing that keeps coming to mind is that no one knows for sure what is going to happen or how this will play out a week from now, a month from now or even a year from now.
What is true is the enviromental impact this will have on our area and this mess will go on for many years upon years even if they are somehow able to stop it.

I told stick last night that the hotels that BP booked sit empty and they have pulled the crews cleaning the beaches...Truthfully, there is no presence of anything happening to suggest that any action is being taken at all.
Also, if nature is any indication, the frogs and tadpoles have suddenly disappeared from my pond...and sitting outside this morning there are barely sounds from birds. All I hear is crickets.
Not to worry though...I will be okay...I am starting packing the small stuff this afternoon

I have been keeping tabs on the situation through market-ticker. Denninger also lives along the gulf coast and keeps calling for action to no avail. It is as if the federal government is purposefully tying the hands of local officials so that they cannot do anything. It doesn't help that they are all either incompetent or cowards when it comes to doing what is right. A lot of the damage could have been mitigated if preparations had begun as soon as the spill was announced. Now it is far too late to mobilize a proper response.

I expect my sheets pressed and my coffee brewed hot by 6:30 am. I will have my breakfast at 8am...and don't be late with it or I will deny giving you my company until after my naptime at 2pm. Please make sure I am not disturbed during this time or I will be cranky.
Also, have my dinner promptly to me at 6pm after my hired manicurist and massage therapist (that you pay for) leaves for the evening.
