HHO Gas

Week one. Other than the excess heat caused by not mixing my electrolyte correctly I will have to state that I am getting an increase of roughly 35% better gas mileage. That is because I have yet to acquire a modulator to fool my O2 sensor and the fuel pump is still supplying a rich mixture of gas. Once I have that I expect the mileage to go up even further. My 98 eclipse was getting around 300 miles to a tank spirited driving and it's a 12 gallon tank. I am getting close to that mark with a little over half a tank of fuel. 280 miles to 7 gallons. That is 40 mpg!!!

My eclipse is a 4 cylinder dual overhead cam.

A friend sent me this video the other day. It has much to do with why this viable technology isn't out yet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uylSdePEbwI&feature=related

Other than this video I do hear the Japanese aren't waiting around any longer and have started production or trying to start production. Looks like they are telling Big Oil and IMF who have been stifiling this technology for decades to go to hell.

Also some home design by a person who is claiming to produce 10 liters of hydrogen a minute. Great video.

First,
I am not making money on the net, or by giving you links as some have said.

I gave you the Meyers file, (complete), he holds the patented issued by the government and proven not to be a scam.

Again I must say, don't buy kits from sites! some are very dangerous! Research this hydro tec. before you jump into it. There are many forms and groups that have been together doing this and improving different designs. They also offer FREE information and plans for their members so I must again say...JOIN A GROUP! read the post discuss then build! If you build it right it will work!

The "Smack" file has been updated and redesigned, the new file is available now..

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Hydroxy/

Its free to join, and all the files are for you to download from the file section.

I MAKE NO MONEY HELPING YOU!
Take this in the name of Ron Paul and freedom!

ps...forge...keep reading! it is very high tec. but it works!

I think I want to build a "smack" type booster,on steroids.
Instead of the 4" PVC,I am thinking of getting the GE gnarly water filter, that has the agility to fill without taking the cap off. It also has capacity for more and larger plates, and more H2o.

Instead of the SS wall cover plates,I was thinking of making larger plates out of some stainless material.

Any good ideas of where I can get Stainless Steel sheets so that I can make these larger plates?

Instead of 16 plates,I was thinking like 24 larger plates. I am just not sure how to wire this correctly,so that current is not lost.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

oruval,
I have been wanting to try this in my truck for a while.. I have been skeptical, but after your post and some others who have told me they have gotten good results, I have decided to try it! I am going to purchase a professionally built kit tho. it comes with a money back gaurantee. My jetta TDI gets over 50 mpgs on the highway..if I would only get a 10% increase it would be worth it.. I will have this done within the next 3 weeks and I will let everyone know the outcome! wether it works or not.. I will also put 1 on my dodge 1 ton cummins turbo deisel.. should be interesting to settle this discussion one way or the other.

DONT BUY A KIT
On July 10th, 2008 Gary Nelson says:
Google removed all seller of kits! They had to many complaints, the kits are a scam! They ARE dangerous if they don't have flash back arrestors in them and most don't! Brown's Gas burns fast and it can and will burn back to the gen. and blow up! You can't see the flame!

before you go and add a component ...... You can increase your mileage with out it. the 1.9 tdi is a fantastic motor to tweak. I will come back and post some links for ya later, but in the mean time google for tdi clubs and forums.
There are a few minor tweaks that can get you up to about 70 mpg. then there are some more involved to get you to 80 mpg..... and yes ... *shhh* ... there are some over 100 mpg....

I'd imagine if you got 70 and added a lil H you could see large gains.

this also depends on which tdi you have .... the old injection pump ALH motor or the newer direct inject Pumpe Dusse.

My First Results
On July 10th, 2008 jmeagan says:
My first results were disappointing.

We first set the system up with 6 plates approx 4" x 12" completely covered with water and a very small amount of electrolyte. We immediately popped a 30 amp fuse. We dumped that solution and put in straight tap water, but only covered about 50% of the plates. We didn't have another 30 amp fuse, so we installed a 20 amp one.

We then drove to the gas station and filled up. 6.4 gal for 145 Mi or 22.66 mpg. The HHO system was only working for 6% of these miles. I was initially excited by this as the best mileage I had obtained previously was 20 mpg.

We then started our test run. 15.9 miles into the run, we popped the 20 amp fuse. We drove some more and at 32.5 miles, we installed a new 30 amp fuse. Finally at 75.5 miles, I refilled the tank with 4.3 gal or 17.44 mpg, with the system running 78% of the time. I was very disappointed.

However, I am still confident the system has merit. I drove most of the 145 base miles and a friend of mine drove most of the 75 test miles. In a normal situation, he drives about 5-10 mph faster than I do. However, we had a special situation last night and he probably average 10-15 mph faster than my normal speed. The driving was done on narrow 2 lane country roads with many hills and turns. Driving that much faster means a lot more hard breaking. I didn't drive the vehicle with the system operating until about the last 10 miles of the test. I immediately noticed that the engine was running much smoother and had a lot more power. I pulled a 9% grade with just a slight pressure on the gas pedal.

When I started the vehicle this morning to go fill up to check the gas mileage, the system was empty of HHO. About a mile into my trip I notice the engine smoothed out and I had more power. I assumed that was when the system was actually supplying HHO to the combustion gases.

We ran into some technical problems yesterday, mainly drawing two many amps. We are going to scale the system down to 4 plates and I will be taking about a 220 mile trip either Saturday or Sunday. If we don't pop a bunch of fuses, that trip should give us a better idea or whether the system works or not.

Egad!!
On July 10th, 2008 oruval says:
You have to completely cover the plates with water. They will arch if you don't and your making very explosive gas wich will ignite with some fury.. Also used distilled water, tap water will corrode your plates. also use KOH instead of baking soda, you can get it at Lowes hardware. Go to the plumbing section and ask for the drain cleaner made with KOH or potassium hydroxide. You only need a little less than 1/8 a tlbsp of this per liter of water. Any more and you will pull too much current and pop fuses and burn wires.

KOH has kick for electrolysis. ALSO MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR ELECTRIC SYSTEM TO MAKE SURE YOUR NOT GROUNDING OUT AND YOU ARE CORRECTLY HOOKED UP. That could be a main cause of blowing fuses or your electrolyte is too much for the amount of water you have.

I like the looks of the professional unit also... they have a cooler to cool the gas etc.. my mechanic will install it for me... it will be fun to see what happens. hopefully we will prove you right .. I have nothing to gain or lie about.. and if it helps people save money , it is worth it! plus I have a 24kw diesel generator (CAT). if this thing works it means it would double the opporating time for my generator at my farm.. lots of good stuff and benefits with this!

Have to say...

I agree with a comment there....

Why didn't the nerds get 1 (ONE!) more MPG to make it 1337.

For those of you that are ~haxor~ challenged, that spells LEET.. or Elite.

I never contributed anything.

Boy its funny when people know you're banned. They take all kinds of cheap shots. I am contributing to my community and to my friends. If I show you the path on line that's all the more contribution I need to give.

Oh and I read that thread.. Most the people there know a little about it. The guy that was talking about the timing was wrong about having to get a computer to retard ignition. The ECU's automatically do that, and that is why you must adjust the Oxygen sensor.

Also the man was incorrect about using vinegar or baking soda as a electrolyte. I use KOH or potassium hydroxide it dosen't corrode steel.

I gave up trying to show people on the daily paul after Rhino and a few others were attacking me. I still want to dyno test cause I know it works but don't want to spend the money to say hey assholes I proved you wrong!

I'll tell you how explosive HHO can be.. I left it on for 30 min with my car off by accident and it cracked my header and valves and block in one hell of a explosion when I tried to start my car after leaving the HHO on by accident. I didn't have it linked to my oil pump yet and had to manually turn it off is why that happened. LOL only cost me 1600 dollars to replace the engine. But what's that in comparison to making it work!. I can eventually make that back when I produce them for others.

Yep I hooked mine to the oil pump switch right from the get go, also the fuel pump so it can only work when the key is on and has oil pressure because I knew inevitably I would forget to switch it off one day. Of oyu you get in wreck and the key is still on but engine stops then no pressure and it switches off automatically also did the 30 amp breaker and a relay with an LED when the breaker trips. I put to much Sodium hydroxide in at first and it kicked the breaker. Lowered the amount and it has run fine ever since.

I heard there is an engine oil additive called Xado that is supposed to protect your engine from hydrogen weakening. Also supposed to revitalize tired engines etc. My big Ford pickup engine is tired too so am thinking of trying it. It's out of the Ukraine so if it really works I am sure they will be outlawing it pretty quick
